What is the traditional use and where does the kambo come from
The first knowledge of kambo comes from a story told by the native Indians of the Brazilian rainforest Amazon. Here the legend goes that the people of a medicine man were sick and none of the traditional medicinal herbs worked. He then consulted with kambo's sister medicine ayahuasca and got direct response from there to go out into the jungle to get an answer. Out there, he was contacted by the kambo frog spirit who showed him how to collect the medicine and how to administer it to the sick. Of course, needless to say, this worked.
Traditionally, kambo has been used as a hunting medicine to improve hunters' sight and hearing when hunting. Traditionally it is also said that they become almost invisible and reduce their human odor so that their prey does not detect them.
